"Prisoner Ben" used to have an interesting blog post on his website recounting how prisoners sometimes falsely accuse people of sexual abuse, admitting doing so himself and blaming the police. It seems to have disappeared. I've tried various searches of the blog site (example), without success. Very mysterious and a pity, as it was enlightening.

I think that the notion of "victims" in criminal justice has also been pulled into this. You don't question the status of a victim. That is sacred; and if a few people go to prison wriggly convicted then so be it: the "greater good" justifies it. The Mail is actually a growing voice of reason in this country; unpleasant as well, at times, but needed.
I read a lot of daily newspapers from both sides of the political spectrum. It's nice to read different opinions and I laugh at their desperation. Not one paper has convinced me to vote.
It might be due to the fact journos lie to the reader and spew out nonsense that cracks me up laughing.
I hate politicians and their lies. When elections are due that's when they care, then propaganda comes through the door.

dares question the behaviour of Police and Enablers. Police actually encourage crime - they urge loonies like Carl Beech to lie so they can get convictions, preferably high profile ones. As do bent lawyers seeking compensation. "Wink wink nudge nudge - I have to believe you are telling the truth (there's money in it)".
