JK2006 Ah I loved the tease of sandworms - I gather they come into their own in the second film. I was a big fan of the Sting/fat floating man movie too (nobody else was!).
hedda yes Timotheeeee.is certainly attractive but I thought him dull as well but that's the dull script's fault.

I preferred String and that bloke with all the pussy boils and the effects were far better even in the original though it too was incomprehensible

## Sand worms in the first were better actors.
JK2006 Yes I loved it Hedda - thought it spectacular though incomprehensible. And I must admit I do like looking at Timotheeeee.

I thought it was the most boring movie of the last ten years.

Dreary, dark, lousy special effects, totally uninteresting characters.

Give me the old wacky Dune any day.
