hedda 4500 is a lot but not in a country of 140,000,000.

Not sure how the media could possibly know how the majority of Russians think one way or the other.

Certainly not my late Russian Granny who may have been mad.
JK2006 Exactly Honey and it is the entire media - including social media which I suspect is partly responsible for this trend.
Honey The ITV ten o clock news was more like a reading from a penny dreadful.

Just tell us the facts, for goodness sake, and we will decide what to think all by ourselves.
JK2006 Tonight - "all this is because of the wishes of just one man". Is that true? Are there no others who wish Russia to take back Ukraine? If indeed there are not, this is appalling. But can we believe media? Because if they are lying again and again can we accept everything they say. It worries me. I just don't trust the media.
JK2006 Example - the Mail, a NEWSpaper - "4600 held by Putin's police for BRAVELY opposing the war".
My caps.
Now I'm happy for that in opinion pieces or articles but news should not be biased.
It is everywhere. BBC. Sky. Times. Guardian.
And about everything. Any news story.
In my generation it was just wrong to personalise news coverage.
