JK2006 Watching after I collected my £660 (actually £670 - I got my stake back too) I see Sam's Dad is Robert and it was a Steven who was at Cambridge with me (Uncle?).
Green Man All my horses fell over. Must be drunks !
JK2006 Oh my God - Noble Yeats won with Sam Waley Cohen and I backed it because I was at Cambridge with his father! 66-1 so I'm off to collect £660.
JK2006 My dear friend Deniz Corday, killed (he thought) by Surrey Police in 2017, loved betting on the horses - no interest to me but just for him I put a bet on the Grand National (and won it first year as a horse was called Don't Push It and I had written a song in 1965 for Hedgehoppers Anonymous called Don't Push Me (I made hundreds). So this year, as usual, I've placed 6 bets - £10 each. Let's see how it goes.
