In The Know Well, blow me ! I always thought that "unaccounted for" meant that they hadn't got a bloody clue where they were !

The Yankers must simply have "unaccounted for" all those WMD in Iraq then !

Clue: Unaccounted doesn't mean lost.

(They were attached to the wings of the aeroplane, they were always in possession of the USAF. A thing still possessed is not lost.)
