Disobedience? When were they put in control of our lives? When did they acquire this master / slave role? I always believed (wrongly, obviously !) that the police were public servants.
The Cat	I'm totally against the "Let's treat everyone as guilty" and "If they've nothing to hide they've nothing to fear" attitudes of modern Britain. DNA is not an exact science, and it is relevent to very few criminal cases. Mistakes can, and have, been made. That's just one of the things we have to fear. Didn't we used to criticise the Soviet Union for many of the things being introduced in Britain today? I also think Hitler would have been quite impressed with the policies of our current government. Mart	As previously recomended by me, read "Next" by Michael Crichton and read the most ridiculous results possible of the DNA notion.
JK2006	I would have no problem with it (I'm already on it of course) - in fact I wish it had existed 30 years ago; I would have been acquitted of the false allegations against me. BUT... having experienced the way Police and CPS juggle the facts, I'll bet millions DNA can be "assisted" to convict innocent people. Sadly, these days I'm 100% cynical about the honesty of criminal investigations. They need those results.
