Smalltime Geordie 'Northern Echo' hack made editor/owner of London's POMPOUS Pall Mall Gazette (later turned into dishonest Harmsworth's Daily Mail-icious).
Stead not only invented the first fake pedo-panic, but in the 1890s (when Hitler was an innocent Bavarian boy) conspired with Rhodes, Milner, and Gray to start World War One!
Before Stead fittingly went down on the Titanic - they couldn't touch him for cunnilingus on a BIG Ship!

yes his name escapes me but it was a "campaigning journalist" from Manchester who basically invented gutter tabloids and caused the pedo controversy you mention.

As media celebrates GLF 50 years nobody mentions my gay music tracks from the 1960s long before queens like Bowie and Bolan picked up on the idea.And nobody mentions that Homophobia still exists but has been quietly adapted as PAEDOPHOBIA. My stupid 2000 arrest and eventual wrongful conviction was a few days before the ECHR forced the UK to equalise the ages of sexual consent. Amazing to think that until 2000 men could only have legal sex with other men if both were over 18 - whereas with hetero sex the age was 16. Males were legally unable to decide who they wanted to have sex with until two years later than UK females. History gets SOO glossed over to fit the new media agenda.
