There's a time and place for it. I just hated it. In the 80s it was kind of the norm to have a few pints before driving. I never did it though. My Dodge Colt (1971) which I bought from from a bloke in the pub for 90 dollars was my pride and joy. Despite the dodgy electrics and the window wipers that went on randomly.
It still got me to A to B or C on a good day.

Yes I was groped SO few times I remember each with delight!
