So what will Boris do? We haven't seen the last of him. Will he join and head up the LibDems before the next election? Will he form a breakaway New Conservastives party? I wouldn't bet on No10 never seeing Boris again.

Very good analysis by Sarah Vine in today's Mail; though I'm not a fan of hers and anyone watching Love Island must be mentally impaired (I never have, I admit, so I could be wrong) but she has been close to Boris and seems to have got his number spot on. I see one of her close friends is Rachel, Boris' sister, who is lovely, charming, bright and honest.
