JK2006 Quite interesting in that this thread was started a month ago; the series ended weeks ago yet thanks to iPlayer it is still being watched and this thread now has had 37,000 views.
Wyot Watched it now and thought it was, quietly, rather brilliant. All the plot lines that could (and would have in 99% other dramas) have been went nowhere; like most of life.

We need the Line Of Duties - but also need this.

Apart from that SODDING music; just awful, different maybe, buy no need...!
JK2006 This really seems to divide people but I think anybody who found it boring or hated it can never understand the False Allegations Industry.
Wyot Sean Bean has been married 5 times so he has certainly put in the method acting fieldwork...

I haven't seen it yet but it is high on Mrs Wyot's list; so won't be long...
JK2006 Well, for me Awards galore and Camilla Long should be fired. Bean and Walker superb but just as good were all the supporting cast. And such a brave idea to show real life as opposed to falling into the trap of turning everything into a fake drama. When a car pulls up outside, you expect (DRAMA) it will be the daughter returning. It's not. When the Dad confronts the slimy Jamie, you expect violence - there isn't any. When he gets a sore leg you expect (DRAMA) a hospital It isn't. Instead you get a very funny gentle Walker line, gently delivered.

Really, this was absolutely superb TV.
