Anthony Thanks, Chrissy! I was part of the 33,000 crowd. Not bad for a little East Midlands city. Not a bad performance either. I was beginning to wonder whether we'd ever win a game.
chrissy Your first win Anthony. You've beaten Newcastle 1-0. Terrific result!!

I have no interest at all in Manchester City but somehow have a perverse desire to see Sven top the league and give the red tops red faces.

Yes, me too, JK. I can put my hand on my heart and say I always stuck up for Sven, right upto his last game in charge of England. His record as a manager speaks for itself.

Expectations of England fans are always set too high. England qualified for tournaments with ease under Sven- none of the jitters of before and since- and I don't believe many managers, and certainly no English ones could have got the team any further than the quarter finals.

I wish him good luck at Manchester City.

You might be our bogey side Anthony? I predict a relatively easy game for the gunners, but the season always throws up the occasional shock. Nah. LOL..Arsenal 5 Derby 1.

I think you are being a little kind predicting a goal for Derby, Chrissy! We did used to be a bit of a bogey team for the Gunners once upon a time. We did the double over them in Arsenal's 1989 winning season, and beat them 3-0 in our first season at Pride Park. I fear times have changed.
chrissy You just can't help but like Martin O'neil. But yes, Sven was given a horrendous time by the media. They were willing him to lose. Pleased for him.
