This was what always made me suspicious of them. Regarding Murat - not sure HOW the McCanns could state he was innocent? How could they know (unless of course they DID know !). I see the Portugeuse police have arrived in Britain now the McCanns have started their "fight back" !

Mart	There`s a great publicity angle here, which people who may have read the "strategic busking" thread would be interested in. Guaranteed TV, perform and tell the camera crews you are about to open an account. Poor taste, granted, but an unmissable chance for a decent wannabee.

Unlike Northern Rock, most of their lending is covered by investments. 75%+ of Northern Rocks loans are funded by short-term borrowing - which dried up.
