JK2006 The worst thing about police behaviour in this century is not against people like me (Celebrities) but against people incapable of defending themselves from bent cops, crooked lawyers, one track media coverage and a broken system. This (link to it in PHOTOS) is an example.

JK2006 A blistering attack on the MET but it's vital that people (and especially media) are aware that this is a British police problem. I can only speak from experience about Surrey Police but 22 years ago I discovered that they were in an appalling state. Only a very few officers are actually corrupt and most of those simply hide, destroy or fail to disclose vital evidence for the defence, to ensure a conviction, promotion and budget increase, preferably high profile. Others - the majority - are simply incompetent or lazy, as are employees in most industries. The problem is - as Casey points out - the Senior Officers who not only allow officers to get away with, sometimes, murder but encourage an attitude that they WILL be backed, no matter whether guilty or innocent.

Truly shocking, unbelievable and socially damaging.
