I have something in common with The King then, because I too would say just two words to Sunak.
JK2006 You see the election of Truss - clearly almost brain dead - by a section of the public was a disaster. It is incomprehensible how those Tories failed to see her faults. If it had then "gone to the members", after Truss quit, I have no doubt Penny Mordaunt would have beaten Rishi Sunak because there is a chunk of the membership (totally reflected in the public at large) which is racist, stupid, nasty, superficial and vicious. Many voted FOR Brexit. I've been impressed by Mordaunt (very) and think she would have made a good PM - and still may in future. I disagree with many of her positions, as I did with both Thatcher and Corbyn. In those two cases I was 80% against; 20% with; but I thought both were decent, honourable people, genuinely doing what they thought would be right for the UK, not for themselves. I think we need to learn the lesson here - do not ask the public about anything; rely on those better informed and less obedient to the media.
