Salterne It's the bookies who pick the favourites - but I think there'll be a few surprises yet. Like Japan knocking out Germany and Saudi Arabia beating Argentina.

Preparation is intence and not just listening to team talks from the manager every day. Defenders, for example, are given detailed info on opposing forwards.

This includes video analysis on players' strengths and weaknesses. Kyle Walker will spend time over the next few days screen watching Mbabbe - who he must neutralise.
