JK2006 Check the Tipsheet board ITK - update there!
In The Know I see the jury has been dismissed and a retrial ordered - when that happens I don't see much hope for a conviction, do you?
JK2006 Latest Phil Spector judicial instructions to the jury indicate that the US system is even more flawed and corrupt than the UK one... and that's quite a feat.
veritas there are so many things to admire about the US system of law but it's now descended into how rich you are as to the quality of defence you get.

The real thing I want to know-is that his real hair ?
Pete Clarke Yet another celebrity getting away with murder in the US Courts?

What an absolute disgrace.

This nutter has a well documented history of threatening people with guns, usually it's women but in the past he has occassionally threatened musicians.

I think it is plainly obvious that Spector killed the girl.

The clincher for me was the testimony of Spector's chauffeur who was outside the house, heard the gunshot and testified that Spector emerged, smoking gun in his hand and said "I think I killed somebody".

If the US Justice System is to retain any kind of credibility, this man should be convicted of murder.

Then again, he could be compleeeeeeetley innocent but I doubt it.
