I think you have highlighted a factor that few in the general public think about-the extraordinary legal costs a person incurs when defending themselves.
The police have unlimited funds and an accused often is at a real disadvantage.

Thank you Rodney for those very kind words. Much appreciated.

Well I have met Jonathan King. We met several times in the late 60's and early 70's when I was working at either Record Mirror or BBC Radios 1 & 2. I found him a guy of boundless enthusiasm, genuinely interested in music and the first head of a record company to care more about the artists than the profits.
AAs News Editor of a music paper (then, after a spell in TV and PR moving to the BBC) I never heard anyone say a bad word about him (except perhaps his singing voice).
I never heard any of the so-called rumours, which is odd as I heard plenty about others.
I still play his records. I still value his contribution to the industry and sincerely hope this decade finishes off better than it started for JK.

Black Vinyl White Power is a very good book - including two or three quotes from you Jonathan (including one about the hairstyle of Arthur Scargill).

Mind you JK, you should get a hefty interest rate on top of that.
It does make me wonder what would happen in the press if your appeal is successful. I would guess that you would get one of the 'alleged victims' selling their story to The Sun saying what a miscarriage it is.
Sorry to sound so cynical but that seems to be the way the press works.
On a positive note, I do sincerely hope that you are found innocent and other people can carry on the good work you have done.
Also nice to see what a good friend Simon Cowell providing your bail at the time.
