I always thought they were the distraction for the crap songs.

JK2006 Don't worry Hedda - being pregnant makes my head spin too.
I started all that Dancers thing in the mid 1970s d av - after many times on Top of the Pops I noticed that my performances inevitably made the records drop down the charts so made a video directed by Mike Mansfield using a then un-named group of dancers discovered by my friend Michael Summerton under Arlene Philips - later called Hot Gossip - to distract viewers and potential buyers from my useless performance. It worked and It Only Takes A Minute went UP the charts (1976?).

She couldn't do much jigging or singing herself because of the pregnancy, but I hated the choreography, and even if I had ever liked the "hoody and penis grabbing" style, I would be thoroughly bored with it now.
I always enjoy Rhianna though.

I was a tad disappointed with her but I'm a fan.

I thought the floating stages spectacular but I get vertigo.

lying down now with the thought of JK being pregnant though anything is possible these days.
d av that's been a long time approach.. put sexy and exotic dancers in the background .. even Bananarama used to do this in songs like
Venus, Love In The First Degree, I Want You Back..

Sometimes it looks a bit obvious.. particularly with solo singers..
