JK2006 These natural disasters show the best (rescuers) and worst (blamers) of humanity. Rather than help, save lives, provide sustenance, help the bereaved and damaged there is a chunk of humanity (assisted by media - great story - as is the tragedy - help people; be decent; great story) which prefers using energy blaming people, deflecting attention to stupid things like "Build Earthquake safe buildings" (impossible if Mother Nature strikes direct) and "prosecute builders".

Look; the reasons some buildings survive is because they were in a slightly different place to the dead centre. Like Climate Change - do not be fooled by "the better story".

Yes COVID kills some people (like flu).
Do NOT react as if it can kill everyone (as most did in 20/21).
Earthquakes can cause havoc.
Avoid building in earthquake areas.
Support developing NON earthquake (and NON flood and other dangers) areas.

Humanity took the stupid pill years ago.
And will never recover.
