Whole Truth Girl with deadly inherited condition is cured with UCL spinout gene therapy 16 February 2023

A girl born with a rare and fatal genetic condition has been potentially cured of her disease thanks to a revolutionary gene therapy developed by UCL spinout Orchard Therapeutics (Orchard).

JK2006 Hidden away on BBC - this is exactly the kind of news item that should be on Prime Time TV. Millions would be donated. It's where Governments should be spending their taxes. NOT on prosecuting victims of false allegations or building stupid Nightingale hospitals or falling for media hype on far more commercial, populist scandals. Just because it's a good story (and simple) doesn't mean it's a better one morally (or indeed a better one in the hands of the right Editor).
