With so much contradictory, confused and in some cases plain false information out there, the author's call for much more data on mask efficacy seems pressing. If cynics like me are in fact wrong on masks (or rather not wrong as such just not persuaded by the available evidence) then we need definitive research available. One day, after all, a really serious virus may arrive.
