JK2006 Rather astonished that Eden Dambrine wasn't nominated for Best Actor.
JK2006 Just saw CLOSE (which won the Palme D'Or at Cannes - totally deserved). Everything in it is terrific (best film I've seen since Banshees) but the reason I love it so is because it does the exact opposite of today's superficialisation. Instead of exaggerating and inflating; instead of doing the obvious every moment. It is superbly under stated but reveals more about humanity than any movie in years. A staggering film.
