JK2006 Several questions from those who have read my piece on the Empower Innocent site asking what on earth do Whiplash claims have to do with False Allegations.
Answer - false claims can go from one extreme (trivial car bumps) to the other (rape; murder).
And liars or exaggerators exist throughout.
Making a few quid or thousands - often with the help of other criminals (bent lawyers; bent doctors; bent "witnesses").
This whole area has escaped attention.
It is often the new Frankenstein version of BLACKMAIL.
"Do this or we'll sue".
Using the law to break the law.
I've put up links to other examples of this failing to escape the attention of decent judges.
But, so far, no prosecutions.
