Agree with all of this and also - why is the assumption made that the inspection played a major part in her suicide? Schools need to be inspected, anyway, as they exist for children, not the staff. It is part of the deal.

There's a lot of people with fragile personalities and egos. I used to love accepting constructive criticism at work most of the time they were right.
