JK2006 57th indeed - Seymour lived across the road when we were in 315.
hedda had dealings with Seymour in NYC over a singer I was promoting and the offer was excellent but the act didn't like strings attached.

Even visit JK on 57th street(?) briefly over the same act who was most kind with his advice.

The stories I heard about Madonna's audition would make your hair curl.
JK2006 With the lady he phoned me from his hospital bed about when she tricked her way in to play him her demos.
JK2006 One of my oldest friends in the business (since 1964) - we dined every year at Midem. In fact, a few years ago he organised a session there featuring him and me as the two remaining attendees from the first Midem. Discovered many stars from The Ramones to Madonna. His story about Madonna (when he phoned me from the hospital bed she accosted him in) is fabulous. Only 80.
