Wyot doesn't work in recruitment but would advise any young person to go and make their life in another more civilised country now if they can. I am sure increasing numbers will.
This country seems fucked. A reactionary, isolated, nationalist island in steady decline. Unless we rejoin the EU, start doing our bit in supporting asylum seekers, make the criminal justice system about rehabilitation, pay public servants a living wage, start learning how to laugh at ourselves, in other words pull our head out of our collective arsehole - we will continue to be the flatulent party bore, best avoided if possible, laughed at by more prosperous grown ups.
I have no idea why asylum seekers want to come to the UK. Is it the dole money or free hotels? UK has never been pleasant and the English broke up Ireland. |

Agree WYOT - Junior Doctors, nurses many others - should go abroad (I recommend North Africa). I would if I was 30 years younger. |

I hope that doctor's understand its the tax payer's that pay for the NHS and staff. If you're not happy why not get a job abroad? I always tell young people in the pub if you want better weather, wages, houses and cheaper living try work abroad.
Try get an entry level job in hospitality, tech, tradesmen, teaching or in travel. I started as a glass collector and pint puller when I was a teen.
If Wyot works in recruitment he should tell the client's to pack their bags and work on cruise ships.
