So, are women who "don't live as women" (you know - the kind who wear Doc Martens, fake moustaches and attend Football Association matches at the weekend instead of ironing) still allowed to join? As it is the "living as" the WI set out as the crucial factor rather than ownership of a naturally occurring vulva...?

With anything as logically tortuous and absurd as this you know that reason has to be by-passed and it must - like religion - be accepted on faith. And that faith respected.

I wonder (not all day everyday you understand) if the decline of religion leads to people just attaching the religious impulse to other areas of life?

Is that Barney?

I love that you have an ant farm GM. I have no idea why I love that you have an ant farm, but I do.

Green Man I thought the WI was a sacred safe space for women. A man in a dress is not a woman.

My shed is a scared space, my partner knows not to bother me when I look at my ant farm. She has to knock 4 times.
