JK2006 And this year whilst rooting for Novak I'm keen on the two Italians who practiced near my hotel in Rome - Berretini and Sinner.
JK2006 For those interested - my favourite tennis players were - Vitas Gerulaitis (fantastic game against Borg 1977); Ivan Lendl (I interviewed him when he was a teenager) and Goran Ivanivesic.
JK2006 Strange how wonderful those 4 players have been this Century (well, 3 plus Andy Murray). But my favourite ever Wimbledon was in 2001 when my guy, Goran, won as a Wild Card. Let's hope Andy can do it THIS year. Whilst Goran is coaching the guy I hope will win (if Andy doesn't) - Novak who dared defy media and governments and won. NO VAC (and I'm pro vac but also pro choice).
