JK2006 I have to say; that was a dreadful final. Poor ONS, so brilliant in the tournament, just didn't turn up.
robbiex Seven different winners in the last 7 years of the women's singles, compared to 3 in the Men's Djokovic, Federer, and Murray. Just shows that the women's game is much more open. It must be the first time in many years since 2 married women competed in the women's final, and Evonne Cawley is still the last mother to win the title in 1980?
Jean 98 Fair dues to Vondrousova - the first unseeded Wimbledon Ladies Champion of the Open Era (in other words - for, at least 55 years).

JK2006 I don't think I'vee ever seen such support for the loser - everybody seems to love Ons.
robbiex Vondrousova is leading 5-4 in the first set. Ons is having an Off day so far, she's had chances to win this set many times.
