JK2006 I think there will be several battles between them over the next two years, when Novak retires, with both winning (it was VERY close this year).
robbiex Well Alcaraz has won wimbledon, I can't watch 4 hours of men's tennis, its worse than watching Avatar 2. I think Djokovic will retire now, I don't think he will fancy his chances next year at 37 against a 21 year old Alcaraz, who he couldn't beat this year. The only good thing is that Federer retains his record of 8 wimbledon singles titles, which I don't think will ever be beaten.
JK2006 Despite clearly being the GOAT of tennis, many seem not to be fans. Admittedly my admiration for him was boosted by his brave and principled stand on Covid (though I'm pro-vax) but he's simply fabulous as a player.
