Starmer stated over Operation Yewtree that 500 people did not have the confidence to come forward over Sir Jimmy Savile and that this implied the need for change in the justice system. The presumption of innocence was destroyed and innocent people began to be arrested and imprisoned. I question how he could make such a statement when he was the DPP at the time of the2007-2009 investigation into Savile when a very thorough process established there was not enough evidence to proceed.
I also find it hard to understand how not one out of five hundred people would not have spoken up at the time.
I don't know where this country is headed politically but I do know Starmer should face some questioning and should never be PM.
It makes sense to me that Sir Richard Henriques who reported on Operation Yewtree as well as Operation Midland did not judge it fit for public consumption.
Let's have some truth please.

And whilst it looks like a Coalition next time around, it won't make any difference. If only one of the three parties had a half way decent leader. Sunak is, as yet, unproven and looks the best of the three at present but he needs to pull off some amazing tricks (like changing the "you will be believed even if you are lying" police and media slogan) to convince me or anyone else. If Labour dump ghastly Starmer (which they may have to do, when the scandal emerges) and gets someone like Wes or even Burnham (who I don't like much), a coalition between them and Libs (likewise, with, hopefully, a better leader than Davey - where's Clegg when you need him) seems a likely next Government.

Always reflect local issues and general bias - Uxbridge was always going to be Tory because of stupid Mayor Khan; Somerset was always going to revert to the LibDems (we all wish they had a decent leader); the North was always going to return to red. It tells us nothing.
