Why not?

But the hidden message is the size of the story (that a fictional character is gay) - how society is appalled by same sex love but pretends not to be (until they think we're not looking).

X Factor reject Sisi tries to kill herself (People) - where the hidden message is... losers will say whatever a tabloid tells them to say in order to get celebrity (and a small cheque).

Two clear pointers why humanity is collapsing - if you can read between the lines.
