Chris	...or in the case of the late Rolf Harris, you have an entire media deliberately refusing to acknowledge, comment on or report acquittals & over-turned convictions. Which, if that's the way things are and also taking into account the rest of Yewtree, means I don't trust, believe or (normally) even comment on these things as I'm not a mediaeval peasant, nor do I want to drain my energies trying to convince the Fooled Fools of anything.
hedda	we have seen time and time that accusation means guilt these days. few people understand Kevin Spacey was also found INNOCENT in a US court. of course the gormless who are plenty say "not guilty" does not mean innocent.
JK2006	These days, as Mason Greenwood shows, you are not only Presumed Guilty but even if you are proven innocent (as Manchester United found after looking at the Greenwood claims) you are treated as though you are guilty. Why? Because it's a great story and there's a large chunk of the public who are stupid trolls and haters.
