JK2006 RODNEY - yes, that's his name (Only Fools And Socialists) - will suffer from far better research than Sir Edward Heath did by Carl Beech (useless tosser). These days thanks to the Internet the most amazing details can be found to back up the most extraordinary claims. False Accusers are far better equipped now than in the era of Benji the Binman (getting DNA from Kleenexes in dustbins outside houses). Always remember - YOU WILL BE BELIEVED!!!
JK2006 Ah Hedda - boring people can do strange things (who would have thought Huw Edwards had such an interesting private life?) but the point here is NOT what people are or did but how, these days, crooks, liars and the genuinely deluded must legally be believed before the truth or otherwise is investigated. Why? Because it's a great story and these days, a great story trumps the truth every time. And Starmer, as DPP, was one of the key ingredients in creating this state of affairs. Why? Because it is popular. It appeals to media. It appeals to the majority of us public who cannot be bothered with depth of thought. And now - most important - it appeals to VOTERS.

Just as Max Clifford's clever idea of promoting, assisting and encouraging people making false claims (or even true claims) against wealthy celebrities was adapted to include the odd executive target (me) decades ago, Karma kicked in when, as a direct result, his own behaviour years earlier brought about his downfall and death, so Starmer's wise, sensible and popular decision may prove to be his downfall.

Why worry about the innocent and opportunists when you can be seen to help the abused and vulnerable? We all want those who take advantage of helpless children to be stopped and punished. If a few victims of false allegations and incompetent cops suffer, that's par for the course. Until it happens to you - at which point it's too late.
hedda he's far too boring.

# I think the belief he will be the next PM is very premature.
JK2006 By the way, the only reason I'm singling out Keir Starmer here (we know almost every celebrity is going through this, like Mason Greenwood did) is because he enabled the explosion of the False Allegations Industry when, as DPP, he declared YOU WILL BE BELIEVED. Very much part of the Tom Watson army.
JK2006 The one thing that puzzles me is that Keir Starmer has not yet been accused of a serious sex offence either in Reigate or Leeds in the early 1980s. After his decision as DPP that "victims must be believed" it seems incredible that a victim hasn't come forward (possibly "found" by the Tories) who claims they were 14 or 15 when he, in some way, interfered with them.

After all, he's just as famous now as Kevin Spacey or Cliff Richard or me. And the "victim" (or "victims" as they would inevitably become, after the media publicity) must feel they should expose him in order to stop future young children being similarly abused.

The hundreds of thousands the "victim" would make is, of course, unimportant.
And as the DPP said back then, they MUST be believed.

Of course the only thing stopping the Tories (or the Lib Dems) finding that victim is the likelihood that a far better Labour leader would then be chosen (I like the sound of Wes Streeting)but they know, I know and you know that similar charges would then be laid against HIM. And, of course, whoever is leading the Tories will suffer similarly. Politicians are all the same; only the label changes.

I suspect that anyway, even if the Topies haven't yet found a victim, the media will find several.
I suspect they are combing the streets of Reigate, Leeds and Oxford as I write.
