steveimp The original Exorcist is a beautiful multilayered film - one that is simply plotted as a fight between good and evil and the bits in between.

I first saw it at a midnight screening in Lincoln. And I was underage!

Not another reboot?

I hated the Evil Dead reboot. The Original trilogy is good perfect.

In Evil Dead 2, Ash had a chainsaw. Evil Dead 3, What the fuck was that about?

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remakes/reboots did nothing for me. I have no idea why the original was banned in the UK? There's hardly any gore just screaming and running around. The soundtrack is more demented than the film.

Wyot Totally agree - one of my absolute favourites.
JK2006 Yes extraordinary reflection on Humanity in 2023 that they simply could not make the original film again now. Linda Blair has grown up to be a very attractive, articulate and balanced lady.
