Black, who says he was left with post-concussion syndrome as a result of thepunch and lost £600,000 in earnings, was cleared by the judge of one charge of common assault.
JK2006 At least it ended OK but this is more important than it seems. First, the CPS MUST be reformed. Absurd prosecutions costing innocent defendants a fortune and often leading to their conviction, jail and death. Second - False Allegations are out of control (nowhere is it mentioned that this entire event was clearly caused by a desire for media coverage). And Thirdly - bent and corrupt lawyers are swooping - even on those declared innocent. Just watch this appalling woman be found by lawyers suggesting No Win No Fee deals suing the poor (rather, wealthy) man for the incredible expensive damage done to her life, career and self respect. You think I'm joking?
