robbiex Great performances from Bella Ramsey and Jodie Whittaker, and a very satisfying ending.
Wyot Just watched episode one.

Pretty good I think. Though perhaps too much packed into one episode.

I hope the pace slows a little now; for a deeper dive into the characters and story lines. Which could be fascinating.
robbiex I thought it would be like a straight-to-video sequel to a good film, but it's actually pretty good so far(episode 1), and features Siobhan Finneran, who was in Happy Valley and the Reckoning.
JK2006 I am such a Jimmy McGovern fan. But the girls are all terrific too.
