JK2006 So easy - lay on twice weekly legal ferries with cheap prices (£30 a passenger?) to arrive in a secure point in the UK which will rapidly assess, allow or reject applicants (and if rejected, return them free of charge on the next ferry). Saves a fortune; frees up the coastguard; is fair and totally stops the small (and expensive and dangerous) boats. And those that remain have no hope of getting in without occupants being taken straight to the official entry point.
