Green Man I love that you planned well JK. Where I am a lot of the locals have flooding in their street and homes. One young lady mentioned it what happens, when developers build randomly. I did drive around the near the new estates to be nosey, with old ordnance surveys/maps I have collected, and yes they built on unsuitable land.

They are still building on flood plains around Wilts and Hants.

I did warn them!
JK2006 When I bought my house in 1967 with royalties from Everyone's Gone To The Moon I was happy that is built above a Tube tunnel so I reckon any floodwater will descend before rising and it's next to a park with lots of earth to soak up the Serpentine if it overflows.
