hedda he's a real tennis star and was so over-joyed by his win..was fun to watch.
JK2006 Incredible game - I thought Daniil had it won after the first two sets but Sinner came roaring back, and he's such a skinny little thing (I keep worrying his tiny legs will snap). Fantastic game; we have a new Champ (very much a protegee of the mighty Federer).
JK2006 So can Jannik beat Daniil? I do hope so - the new generation of great tennis players. Alcatraz is there with Sinner. Who is best? Up early to watch the 7.30AM start...
JK2006 For a couple of years I've rooted for two young Italian tennis players - both of whom live, train and practice near my summer homes (Rome and Antibes, near San Remo). Jannick Sinner just beat the mighty Novak in Australia. Berretini seems to have gone off the boil for the moment.
