Wyot I have read it three times over the years. I am a bit hit and miss with McEwan; but Atonement is a very fine work indeed.
JK2006 Always one of my favourite novels and films for three reasons; I'm a huge McEwan fan; it's the story of a false allegation and the walk to Dunkirk is incredibly similar to the journey my father took after escaping a Nazi POW camp.
