Wyot I think it was more unnerving at the time than horrifying with the possessed child. But of course that has now been done so many times all you are left with on a re-watch is what now looks like derivative tropes, poor acting and a flat script. Compared to the exorcist which remains superb on all fronts.
JK2006 Awful. A film with no decent script, no characterisation and no real horror. The only things worth seeing are both Bill Nighy and Charles Dance playing baddies.
