Spain should have won Eurovision 2022, as they actually got more votes from the jury. However because of a voting fiddle in the semi-finals the organisers made up those country's votes based on previous countries. There was not much controversy because no on really cares who came second. I thought the Spanish song and performance were far better than Sam Ryder. However I might have been swayed by the outfit.
JK2006 It was awful when Ukraine won (UK should have done) when voters went for media induced political voting. There is no reason why Russia should not be in - just as, this year, both Israel and Palestine should be in. This is a SONG contest (Croatia should win this year - best song).
