Anthony I was never an avid fan of Take That, nor am I usually much in favour of groups making a comeback long after their demise.

It has to be said, however, that they have returned with some great material, and I now have much admiration for them. Respect due.
dex The fact is that Take That as a foursome are fantastic. Unlike other 'boy' or 'girl' bands, they can all sing and each one brings their own quality to the band. The result being fab songs, great voices, entertaining dancing/moves and not least of all they are all extremely easy on the eye!

They have come back with brilliant new songs and new image and their success is well deserved. If the other bands jumping on the bandwagon think their comeback will achieve the same success, I think they may be disappointed.
Solihull Exile The proverbial problem for all 'boy bands' is the label attatched, and the stigma associated with it.Robbie has of course broken out of it now,but Gary Barlow never could.Best just to accept it and work to the best of your abilities.
Robbie is a naturally talented solo performer, wasted with Take That, his stuff is too complex for them, while Gary's stuff is perfect to premiere in a well known group, but not strong enough to support a solo artist.
Easy to forget that the odd boy bands could write good songs,East 17,for all their follies wrote some good songs too at around the same time.
Actually I was amazed at how sucessful the Take That reunion was, their fan base had remained very strong, and few bands could have come back as sucessfully as that.
They always inspired loyalty, probally way above the norm for similar bands,ie Bros,East 17,Go West etc.
chrissy I liked that cover PBS!! Strange how Take That are even better without that Williams fella!

PBS I thought their version of 'Could It Be Magic' was awful.
