MCR Sad news the actor William Russell has died aged 99 not far off his 100th birthday.
He played Ian Chesterton in Doctor Who, and Rita's 2nd husband Ted in Coronation Street.
Also appeared in the series Sir Lancelot.
He had a cameo in the 2022 Doctor Who story The Power Of The Doctor.
