Very sad news about the death of actor Nicholas Ball, who was best known for playing the lead role in the 70's drama "Hazel", which was co-written by former England footballer Terry Venables, believe it or not. He was. He was a massive star in the 70s and early 80s, appearing in everything from Hammer House of Horror, Tales of the Unexpected, and Softly Softly, and of course like most old actors he has more recently appeared in Doctors.
