Mart Indeed the post match farcilcles could actually be very entertaining.
Heres a thought..
Abolish the penalty shoot out for a phone in as well, then everybody can be to blame for once!
chrissy I can imagine JK as England amanager. I'd relish the post match interview... he'd make Mourinho look like a shrinking violet..

'So Jonathan.. you must be please with your first win...'

'I am delighted, I am ecstatic, I am thrilled...we were marvellous throughout, we were brave, we were wondrous, we were hugely entertaining, as I am, and we will go on to conquer the entire world.'

Mart Notably, "JK for England Manager" makes an appearance, like it, run a story somewhere someone.
The Cat I almost won a bet, but I'd predicted 2-1 to Croatia. Right margin, wrong total. Oh well.

Wright Philips was our best player. Pity he was replaced by Beckham who contributed very little over 45 minutes. One fairly adequate pass which resulted in a goal after Crouch caught the slight deflection from the defender. Poor free kick. Average corner. Nothing else.

If anyone had to replace Wright Philips it should have been Lennon. But I've always wondered why Huckerby has never been selected for England, with his dribbling abilities and amazing speed and reflexes. He doesn't suit Premiership football much, but on the international scene he'd be amazing, as shown by his hat-trick for England B a few years back. Also, Theo Walcott is becoming one of England's most talented players.

Time for a total change from top to bottom.
Mike Willis Well I went last night, and for all of England's failings, I have to admit that Croatia were the better side on the night.

Although I am not a fan of the abuse he has suffered in the papers, McLaren is simply not equipped to manage the team, the players were playing in the wrong system and why didn't Beckham not start the game.

They have a flawed system in the FA, twelve people picking a manager and a chief executive who has no power to appoint.

JK, how about throwing your hat in the ring for the England job?
