No wonder the rotten Starmer stabbed him the back and mostly right wing media were determined to undermine Jeremy

Seems the left wing papers like The Metro and Independent were pissed off with Corbyn. People might of forgotten about lockdown but the majority have not and never will.

Wyot Yes well done indeed.

Some info starting to come through as the dust settles: Starmer's percentage share of the national vote is actually less than Corbyn's in 2017...

This is such a shallow victory. Starmer has an (obviously) huge seat majority; but no majority from the people.

We move into interesting times...
JK2006 As predicted a huge winner in Islington (as opposed to ghastly Starmer who lost thousands of votes in Holborn). Mind you I was wrong about Farage. He did win in Clacton but he's a spent force - his tiny pathetic Reform Party will continue to appeal to the racists but will drizzle away just as support for stupid Brexit has done - and for the SNP. These gimmick slogan parties and people do great for a while then become as tasteless as old toast. Nigel, who does speak 5% of sense sadly spouts 95% rubbish but he does it well and his Reform lot cost the Conservatives government. Just as well in many ways. NONE OF THE ABOVE won in a landslide (some constituencies only got around 50% voting). I did vote LibDem in the end - their heart is in the right place.
