robbiex I was at Wimbledon last friday and Eastbourne the week before and lots of fans were cheering for Russian player Daria Kazatkina. The public don't care where people are from on the whole.
JK2006 And someone please explain to me - Medvedev who is paying terrific in Set One though I suspect Alcatraz will win the match - is not allowed to say he's from Russia. Which he is. What on earth does tennis have to do with war (in that I support Ukraine by the way). Ditto Eurovision (why allow Israel if they ban Russia?). BONKERS, Humanity has taken the stupid pill.
JK2006 I'm a huge fan of current Italian players and have been since Berrettini played Novak a few years ago. I was rooting for Sinner but he's out. Musetti was superb at Queens and though I love Novak and would root for him in any final I shall be cheering on the young Italian. Plus we have an Italian in the Women's final (I'll watch tomorrow for the first time in ages).
