Suddenly the Monarchy looks tired and anachronistic (and I'm a monarchist)

They need to drastically pair back the glitz and "glamour" to a European, Danish, Sweden etc style Monarchy with toned down elements.

I reckon if the economy does not improve with millions in poverty, excessive rents and so on, the calls for a new Democracy with a proper voting system and an elected Upper House (ridiculous the number of Lords) will become a clamor.
